The Right People for the Job

On building a team you'd actually want to work with — and inviting them back, year after year.

For all of my projects I will have selected the right people for the job. This will be a team of many subcontractors… maybe as many as 16. Most will have a worker or maybe a few depending on the trade. But I only need to know the boss.

I have selected this person because I like them… because they are like me. They like their job and may have decades of experience. They're folks I've worked with many times over the years.

I only need to know the boss. I have selected this person because I like them — because they are like me.

These “good” subs give me competitive prices. They make their money by being experienced, and fast. They take pride in their competitive pricing… not trying to get rich quickly but slowly over time.

They will be invited back.
